Hi I'm Mary Santos, sole owner and a main creator of Design 2 Change I thought to share my journey of how I started Design 2 Change...
In 2017 Design 2 Change was only an alteration service and then the following year 2019 became a small production and custom made service at Belmore NSW. We have been supporting our clients by sharing our knowledge and experience in upcycling their own personalised garments. We had to open a sewing workshop for parents who are excited and motivated to save their garments and taught them how to do their own alteration.
Due to the current CoVid situation, Design 2 Change made the decision to close the studio at Belmore and move to Liverpool area. We finally change our business model and decided to do our own local adaptive clothing brand label in small scale production and give an opportunity to all body heights and sizes especially people in all types of disability and limited mobility. We also offer our products and services to our local business owners in clothing apparel.
At this current moment.........
Everything about Design 2 Change revolves around our commitment in advocating and promoting awareness in accessibility, functionality, inclusivity, diversity, adaptability and dignity with beauty in an adaptive world of clothing and accessories.
We offer our products and services for all heights and sizes (individual/commercial) especially people who has limited mobility, hand dexterity, athritis, parkinson disease, small person, people with short limbs and all types of disabilityof our evey individual client while making sure they have their adaptive clothing collection are available for made to order.
